San
Diego Neighborhoods United was formed in 2009 by neighborhood
residents and leaders who were increasingly concerned about the
direction in which our city is going.
As
the city struggles with a record deficit caused by reduced revenues
and increased pension costs, there are any number of special
interests attempting to influence the very important decisions
that must be made about the city’s future. SDNU wants to
make sure that neighborhoods are heard.
Our
supporters include community members and leaders just like you.
We are active in groups like Hillcrest Town Council, Mission
Valley Community Council, Neighborhood Historic Preservation
Coalition, Golden Heights Community Planning Group, and more.
SDNU does not have
a formal structure – our core values are based on
a survey of a cross-section of San Diegans .
Our
goal is pretty simple—to elect candidates to local office
who support community-oriented government.
We
hope you join us.
